Camp Brave Heart 2013
by Hannah Milford, MA, LPC, LCDC, RPT on August 17th, 2013

Camp Brave Heart is an annual therapeutic grief and loss camp for children ages 6 to 17 located in Wimberley, Texas. Camp is three days of fun and adventure, including swimming, campfires, fishing, crafts and hiking. Campers also participate in creative counseling activities that help them cope with complex feelings. Bringing children together helps them feel supported through the difficult process of losing of a loved one.  This was my second year volunteering as a licensed counselor for Camp Brave Heart and I am already looking forward to next year!

The only work that will ultimately bring any good to any of us is the work at contributing to the healing of the world. You make a difference.
