Supervision Designed for Your Career Stage

Choose Your Track

Whether you are an Associate launching your career or a fully licensed clinician specializing your practice, we have a clear, supportive path for you.

The Dual Advantage

LPC & RPT Supervision

This track is designed for LPC Associates who need to fulfill both the required Texas clinical hours and the specific RPT supervision hours concurrently.

This is the most efficient and cost-effective way to launch your career with two powerful credentials.

The Value:

You save significantly by bundling these services, maximizing your professional development for one clear, predictable monthly fee.

Who is this for?

LPC Associates (or dual-licensed professionals) who want to earn both their LPC and RPT credentials while living in Texas.

The Investment:

$450 per month (Flat Rate)

This flat fee covers your required 4 hours of monthly LPC-S supervision (focused on BHEC rules, ethics, and clinical safety)

PLUS all the added work for your RPT track (APT paperwork, play therapy case reviews, video/observation feedback, and play theory mentorship).

Post-Licensure Specialization

RPT Supervision

This track is tailored for fully licensed clinicians (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, etc.) who already have their independent license or supervisor and are focused only on earning their Registered Play Therapist™ (RPT) credential.

Who is this for?

Fully licensed professionals (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, etc.) who are ready to specialize in Play Therapy.

The Investment:

$155 per 60-minute individual session

This hourly rate reflects the highly specialized consultation on play therapy theory, RPT-specific case conceptualization, and guidance needed to complete your APT file submission.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect from Supervision?

Our supervision program is designed to be a supportive and enriching experience. You can expect:

✔️ Personalized guidance tailored to your unique career goals.

✔️ Flexible virtual meeting times to accommodate your schedule.

✔️ Regular case consultations and in-depth ethical discussions.

✔️ Practical advice on building a successful private practice.

✔️ Dedicated support in developing your own therapeutic style and specializations.

How often will we meet for supervision?

Since the APT requires a 10:1 ratio (1 hour of supervision for every 10 hours of direct play therapy), your frequency depends on your caseload.

✔️ For the Active Clinician: Most supervisees find that two sessions per month is the perfect pace. This maintains your clinical momentum and ensures you are meeting the 2025 Phase requirements over the mandatory two-year credentialing window.

✔️ For the Specialized/Part-Time Clinician: If you have a smaller play therapy caseload, we may meet once a month or as needed to maintain your 10:1 ratio.

What are your fees for RPT™ supervision?

$155 per 60-minute play therapy supervision session.

$450 per month for LPC-Associate supervision that runs concurrently with RPT™ supervision. Please note that LPC-Associates must be located in Texas.

How does the observation requirement work?

To meet the APT requirement of 5 session observations, we can utilize a few different methods.

Observations can be conducted through video/audio recordings of your sessions or via live telehealth sessions, allowing for direct feedback on your clinical work.

Necessary Release of Information forms will be provided.

What makes your supervision different?

What makes my supervision different is a focus on building your long-term career success. You will gain:

✔️ Private Practice Mentorship: Benefit from my 20 years of experience to learn the practical business skills needed to build a sustainable and successful career.

✔️ Mastery in Parent & Family Work: Learn concrete strategies to confidently guide the entire family system using models like Positive Discipline and Parent-Child Relationship Therapy.

✔️ A Diverse Clinical Toolbox: Move beyond a single theory and learn to intentionally integrate modalities like CBPT, art, and EMDR-informed practices.

What is your main approach to play therapy?

My foundation is in Child-Centered Play Therapy. This means I create a safe, accepting, and non-judgmental space where your child can lead the way. I believe that children have an innate capacity to heal and solve their own problems through play.

My role is to provide the supportive environment they need to explore their feelings, make sense of their experiences, and build self-esteem and confidence at their own pace.

How long have you been a RPT-S?

I became a Register Play Therapist in 2014 and a RPT-Supervisor in 2018.

What will we focus on during supervision?

Our sessions will be comprehensive and are designed to ensure you develop the core competencies outlined by APT. We will focus on three key areas:

✔️ Professional Engagement in Play Therapy: Exploring your professional identity, advocacy, and ongoing growth in the field

✔️ Knowledge & Understanding of Play Therapy: Discussing theory, history, and ethics.

✔️ Clinical Play Therapy Skills: Reviewing your techniques, case conceptualization, and interventions.

Do you offer group Supervision?

Group supervision is offered exclusively as part of the Dual Supervision Package for LPC Associates. Currently, there are no open groups, but you may join the waiting list.

Supervisees in the RPT Credentialing track receive individual supervision only.

How do I pay for my sessions?

Payments for supervision sessions are conveniently handled online through Square. You will receive an emailed invoice with a secure link to pay. You can also opt into automatic payments.
